Self Care

So, in order to maintain my timetable for The Master Plan, I'm taking some summer courses.  The first is an intensive program in Ethics, Law, Records, and Regulations.  Three nights a week, three hours per night for three weeks.  My, my the things I didn't know.  Already had the first test on FOUR chapters and am quivering at the possible resultant score.
Anyway, one of the things I did not know was the absolute requirement of personal maintenance.  Hence today's title.  I err on the side of overcompensating the academic.  Not a good idea.  So, since I can no longer afford theater tickets, movies suck in the summer, and television is controlled by an alien force; I'm doing some alternate activities.
                                                                                                             1.  Mending My Jeans
I love these pants.  They got ripped over a year ago at a party I should not have attended.  Time to reactivate the pants.
2.  Making A Very Unusual Baby Blanket
This is to be given as a shower gift to a young girl whose Mom describes her as "such a hippy" who loves shades of green and Lucille Ball.  I'm using all the softest green yarns I have and will put a bright red emebellishment all around the edges.  Weird, huh?  I have really missed crochet and am relishing the feel of the hook in my hand.

3.  Working on the Centerpieces for Soon-to-be-a-Bride Daughter's Wedding.
Such fun.  No flowers.  Total secret.  Here's a hint.

                                                                                .

Now back to the school books!
