at least she didn't have cats: Breakitty Break

My school has a tremendously long semester break. Depending on one's class schedule it can be over a month between exams and the start of new courses. This is entirely too long in my opinion. I can feel my brain becoming stale. Although I do try to gorge on as much fiction as I can. But I miss text book smell and heft. I had three finals, COMPREHENSIVE FINALS mind you, in a very brief time period; so my break has been long. These are some of the things I did:

1. Caught up on a lot of correspondence. REAL writing! Thank you notes. Graduation cards. Letters.
2. Made a sweater for Milo. Called it "Icy Roads." See the highways? See the catapulted car buttons?

3. Spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my most precious girls.

4. Figured out some stuff. This is always painful because I am very stubborn. Duh.

5. Changed all my passwords and deleted thousands of old paper drafts, emails, and lists I no longer need.

6. Received some unusual items in the mail.

Can you see? It is a deodorant sample. I won't use it as the fragrance is nasty, but it spun really well. I used to get snotty weight loss adverts in the mail years ago. Could it be the self improvement bitches are at it again?

Can you see? Scrumptious chocolate and coffee and salty treats. Most definitely not from the self improvement bitches and not sent anonymously. Pack included goodies for Sister's cat, which I thought was a really nice touch.

7. Began patching my favorite pillow.

8. Was gifted an iPod Shuffle. Whoa Nelly!
