Tumult

This past week was not one of the best.

Astronomically expensive car repairs.  Panic when the car wouldn't start the next day.  Relief when Sister and Recently A Bride Daughter stepped in to save the collective day.  Stress-Om-Eter Rating: 9.0

New class schedule. Ten hours on.  Little sleep.  Ipod earbuds and Walmart earplugs cannot muffle the 5, 5:30, 6 pm news and endless Walton watching. So cranky and tired.  Stress-Om-Eter Rating:  9.3

Internship rocking.  Learning level high.  Confidence crisis even higher.  The more I read about PTSD the more  I believe the precipitating incident can very well be a human being.  So tired.

Visit from the Laundry Fairy and her Charming Child.  He can leave his McDonald's wrappers on my table any old time.  Oh, I forgot.  It's not my table.  Seeing them both once a week is my greatest gift.  Stress-Om-Eter Rating:  7.5

Self-pity and recrimination from the usual suspects. Recalcitrant "i" and "u" keyboard keys.  But the snow held off; the PowerPoint is finished; no falling allowed:  crunchy peant butter.  Maybe a 6 on the Stress-Om-Eter?

February is a short month.  Might make it thru despite the mayhem.  Fingers crossed.  That is all.
