Things Wot I Saw That Soo Prized Me

Elegant white lady.
Silk dress and lavendar pashmina.
Mesclun salad sans dressing.
She ate the salad with her fingertips.

Shiny silver key placed in my pudgy hand.

Old school gansta in tears.

Ancient Vehicle plunged into a snow drift in front of a vacant farmhouse.
Tiny man who pulled his own car into the intersection and kept his flashers on until the poh leese arrived.

Many flipped over photos of my gorgeous grandson in my email

Trinidad native lady asking me what "the c word" is.
Lively discussion that followed about ex-husbands, vocabulary words, and lip scars.

Study nook in the Tech Building.  Tall tropical plants still alive in the windows.
People watching at what passes for a quad.
How do they walk so fast?
Do they treasure that ability?

Thus endeth Week Five.
