Quickie Prayers For Today

Dear Power Aplenty,

I really need patience.  More so than usual and you know the reason why.  I promise I will put it to good use.

Please shower all my angels with the special gifts and gratitude they deserve.  I do it all the time, but a Godly dose would probably come in handy for all of them.

Thanks, by the way, for the sleep.  Thanks for getting me into the house sans falling.  Thanks for the courage.  Thanks for the perspective.  Especially thanks for the sunshine.

Please remind me to count my blessings more often.  Please remind me not to get greedy.  Please remind me that, no matter what, it is going to work out.  Please remind me to listen to my daughters and the wisdom that rolls off their tongues.
