A bit more blog surfing than usual during this extra hot week. I have been too paralyzed with fear (of falling, sweating so much my glasses slide off and consequent falling, canes sticking to bubbling asphalt pavement and the resultant falling, and, of course the pain of falling) and the desire to conserve what little gas I still have in Ancient Vehicle to attempt an out of doors adventure. Or maybe not. Does a week of 90+ temperatures cause gasoline to evaporate from auto tanks?

The afghan on the far right duplicates many scrap projects I made for my girls. The granny squares blanket on the left is a pattern I thought I invented to use up leftover yarns. I was astonished (and pleased) to see these color combinations and motifs used so successfully by another textile artiste'. Made me kind of proud.
Here's my deal: To Unknown Crocheter, We should get together. You are very talented. Sorry, I forget where I found this photo. But I love your stuff. Thanks for letting me know the work I do (or at least a reasonable facsimile) is being appreciated somewhere.
