Maybe I'm Amazed

Darling Eldest Daughter's latest blog post was her rhapsodizing about a Paul McCartney concert.   "Sir Paul" she calls him and drools over his drummer.  Frankly,  couldn't be more thrilled  "All my children are thoroughbreads" as says Grandma Walton.  And, as her proud Mommy I take full credit for her musical taste.  Or the fact that she has such a discriminating musical palette, or something.  Those gals were spoon fed the Beatles with their pureed carrots.  I gave them a great start and they have carried forward in splendid fashion.  And I'm glad she and her dreamy spouse had fun at the concert.

But this post might be witness to a greater miracle.  I have been having a shitstorm with my laptop  and will spare all of my ever so loyal readers with the details.  Suicidal despair.  As a last resort I rechecked all the plugs and moved the charger from the surge strip to the wall outlet.  Today I used the computers at the library and got phone numbers for Geek Squad and referrals to some private "compy dudes" by cruising fb.  Blahblahblah

Tears and frustration as my cell continues to fail me.  Decide on a quesadilla and mango juice.  As I hobble to the sink  I SEE A FUCKING LIGHT IS ON THE FRONT OF THE LAPTOP!  Dare I say it?  it is working...   But I am not/will not do the happy dance just yet.  I've been suckered in too many times.

Any second now that "low battery, save your work sign" is going to scream at me.  And I will once again sink down under the waves.  Til then,  I leave it to Sir. Paul.

Oh, and I made five copies of my resume' and cover letter, but I could not figure out how to save them to the flash drive.
