Freeze until a really blustery day where your toes are actually frozen.
Defrost and plunk a dollop of real salted butter and a handful of shredded cheese in a big bowl. Microwave until steaming or until you cannot wait another minute. Devour with plain saltines or rye toast. The soup should look like this before the first bite.

Kale in chicken soup! What a great idea - why have I never thought of this before????? Kale is going into the pot the next time I make chicken soup.
