Screamsickle

Almost unrecognizable as human flesh.  Exfoliating bark perhaps?  Grey, prickly sandpapered.  Taut over toes and creased around ankles.

Beneath are gravel chunks, peppered with diamond chips which are buried in remaining muscle tissue.  Scraping nerves with every heartbeat.  Twisting sinew and tendons snapping.  Pus.

Razor wire herringboned up and down calf and shin.   Pressing in and slicing through the festering wounds remaining from yesterday.  Sledgehammer blows accompany each pulse.  Cinder block bricks striking, striking.  Blood flows in to veins ironed shut.

Now.

Rise.  Rise up.

  2. Nope. A bit of poetic license describing a usual day.

  3. In that case, please don't have very many bad days; the usual ones are horrible. Razor wire - shudder.
