Bad Weather

Soaring temperatures and pouring rain have made most of the headlines this past month.  Apparently 100 degree days are going to be the norm for most of us.  The talking weather heads never seem to be surprised when they read the list of cities and their scorching temperatures.  Neither are they phased by tropical storms and tropical depressions and tropical anythings that come sooner and sooner every year and destroy more and more.  Should we all tuck and cover?

Colorado has been burning down for weeks now.  One friend paused to send the following image.

That's right.  Finger zombies.  She didn't imply that they were the result of the infernoes out there.  Smoke inhalation perhaps?  A side effect of the chemicals used to suppress flame?  Bites from heat crazed escaping fauna?  Who can say?  In any case we'd better start stockpiling some anti-zombie devices just in case.  And since we obviously cannot control the weather, I'm wondering, would this at least spare us a horrible zombie induced death?
