Blogalicious!

Swamped by schoolwork for the next several weeks. And I mean literally overwhelmed and overpowered by the amount of effort I'm going to have to expend to maintain the pace I've set for myself. Hurrah! for me and fml at the same time.

BUT- procrastinator that I am- I've been thinking about how much fun this blog has become for me. Right now I have a much healthier outlook on my own life and only feel like total crap on a cracker when I am inside this building. The presence (presents, too.) of Sister and Son makes a HUGE difference. The lovelovelove affair I have going in all my classes is delightful. Being able to shmooz or scream whenever I want here in blogland is also a part of my newfound mental health.

My questions: Who decides and how are the decisions made regarding what I see when I click on "Next Blog?" After mine usually come stuff posted from foreign countries (assorted Asian nations and Australia mostly) or from writers with clear political agendas diametrically opposed to my views. I am not Asian and I have not ranted a political rant yet; altho I have been tempted. So what is up with that? Also, is it just me or are the most popular blogs written by west coast women crooning about the swellness of their lives with their extremely photogenic children and understanding/sympathetic/empathetic/domestic chore doing husbands? Finally, isn't there anyone out there who wants to option the rights to my ever fascinating blog life story? Amy Adams couldn't play me in the film version (too young, too cute, much better suited to the crooners cited above) but Kathy Bates certainly could.

Now, I've got to tackle research paper writing. Springalicious next time, I hope.
