Take aways from the PTSD workshop:
1. There is more to the military than meets the eye. I mean that in a good way and I NEVER thought I would say or write anything like that.
2. I'm not the only one who finds asking for help humiliating and scary.
3. There are kind people who want to help. I was in a roomful of over 200 on Friday and the feeling of good will was palpable. Diane and Frances were my angels that day.
4. Alison Lighthall is a genius.
5. Hotels never have enough bathrooms for women.
6. Time compression is possible.
7. Veterans get screwed everywhere they turn. We will NEVER be able to repay these women and men.
