Fitting

I purposely avoided all the recent 9/11 hoopla.  I recognize the need to honor and remember; but somehow the endless looping offended me.  It seemed disrespectful; and almost designed to reconjure that "Kill those stinkin' Muslims!"  mentality that was so pervasive ten years ago.  Not for me.

Today doing my very early, 'I'm old and no longer have a circadian rhythm of any kind' fb browsing I found this:



This photo was posted by a friend of a real friend.  I won't use either name; but I am humbly grateful to both of them.  The photo is of a piece of World Trade Center metal displayed at a First Responder Park.

THAT is a fitting tribute.
