This is my 299th post!
This is the sixth birthday of one of my far north nephews. I've seen this child exactly once in the flesh. Fb gleanings have convinced me that he is positively delightful. My Baby Brother and his Sweet Bride are superb parents and this little guy is most likely a joy that they both richly deserve. Happy Birthday, young Mr. B! Photo from his mommy's fb page.
And, thanks to Google and their clever doodle logos, I learned that today is the 224th birthday of Louis Daguerre. Thanks to him we have those gorgeous sepia photographs. I wonder what he'd be doing if he was around today. Happy Birthday, Mr. D where ever you are.
Last but never least, today is the 24th birthday of this bundle of joy! My goofy, dancing, free spirited daughter. Hollywood smile from the day she was born. Gets every Piaget joke. Knows the absolute rightest thing to say, does not judge, and always listens. Wish she would call and visit more often of course.
